Food and wine lovers from across Sydney are set to flock to Wahroonga Park on 29 October for the fifth annual Wahroonga Food + Wine Festival.
Festival organisers have assembled a range of 30 wineries from around NSW and Australia, with vintners ready to meet the public and show off their best wines.
Visitors to the Festival will also be able to sample craft beers, local produce, and peruse a huge collection of gourmet food stalls offering a variety of international and Australian cuisines.
Those with a penchant for the finer things will love the Sprakling + Oyster Bar, where Sydney Rock oysters will be served with a glass of chilled sparkling wine.
A Craft Beer Garden Bar presented by Modus Operandi Brewing will feature a range of award-winning Mona Vale brews.
Crowds will be entertained by performances from local schools, including the Abbotsleigh Symphonic Woodwinds, Turramurra High School Stage Band, St Ives Public School Stage Band, Sussudio Big Band, West Pymble Public Performance Band, Turramurra High School Band, and select musical numbers from Sydney Youth Musical Theatre’s production of The Wizard of Oz.
The event is free for all ages. Wine tasting packages are available from $20.
